Gear Drive with 201R Transmission

Walk-Behind Power Tiller OEM Guide (4HP – 13HP, 6 Models)

KIGERPOWER walk-behind power tillers are supplied in six models: three gasoline tillers built on 7HP, 9HP and 13HP single-cylinder 4-stroke air-cooled engines delivering 4.2kW, 5.4kW and 8.2kW, and three diesel tillers built on 4HP, 6HP and 10HP engines delivering 3.8kW, 4.0kW and 7.1kW. Every model uses a plate clutch with gear drive and a 201R transmission, giving a 1-1.6km/h working speed and adjustable 10-25cm tilling depth. Cultivation width is adjustable from 60cm to 110cm on KG-170T and KG-173T and from 70cm to 110cm on the other four models, with field productivity of 0.035-0.08 hectares per hour on the two smallest models and 0.05-0.1 hectares per hour on the rest. Recoil or electric starting is available, net weights run 80kg to 125kg, and packed dimensions are 84x51x63cm and 91x56x84cm for container planning.

7HP / 9HP / 13HP Gasoline and 4HP / 6HP / 10HP Diesel

Gasoline platforms at 4.2kW, 5.4kW and 8.2kW and diesel platforms at 3.8kW, 4.0kW and 7.1kW, all single-cylinder 4-stroke air-cooled at 3600r/min.

Adjustable 60-110cm Cultivation Width

Width adjusts from 60cm to 110cm on KG-170T and KG-173T and from 70cm to 110cm on the other four models.

Plate Clutch with 201R Gear Drive

Plate clutch engagement with a 201R gear transmission gives 1-1.6km/h field speed and long service life under load.

10-25cm Adjustable Tilling Depth

Depth is adjustable across a 10cm to 25cm range to suit seedbed preparation and deeper tillage.

80kg to 125kg Net Weight

Packed at 84x51x63cm (KG-170T/KG-173T) or 91x56x84cm (the other four models), with gross weights of 85kg to 130kg.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which power tiller model suits small vegetable plots?

KG-170T and KG-173T offer the narrowest 60cm minimum cultivation width, adjustable to 110cm, with 80kg and 90kg net weight and 84x51x63cm packed size — the easiest to manoeuvre between beds.

What is the field productivity of these tillers?

The two smallest models (KG-170T, KG-173T) deliver 0.035-0.08 hectares per hour, and the other four deliver 0.05-0.1 hectares per hour, at a working speed of 1-1.6km/h and fuel use of 12-15kg per hectare on the smallest class.

Do the tillers have electric starting?

Starting mode is specified as recoil or electrical across the six models, so an electric starter can be specified for operator comfort on larger 105kg to 125kg machines.

What fuel and oil do these tillers use?

The gasoline models use a 3.6L fuel tank with 0.65L oil capacity on KG-170T and 5.6L tanks with 1.1L oil capacity on KG-177T and KG-188T; the diesel models use 2.5L/0.75L on KG-173T, 3.5L/1.1L on KG-178T and 5.5L/1.65L on KG-186T. Engines are 4-stroke air-cooled running at 3600r/min.
